Christopher Dunford
President (Since 1991)
Chris has over 30 years of rural development experience in Africa, Asia, Latin America and the United States. He joined Freedom from Hunger in 1984 as Director, Arizona Programs and then became Regional Director, U.S. Programs; Director, International Operations; and Vice President for Programs prior to becoming President. Chris was co-creator of the Credit with Education methodology and now provides organizational leadership and speaks and writes for international audiences on the impacts of microfinance for the chronically hungry poor, on measurement and management toward social objectives, and on integration of microfinance with lifeskills education and health protection. Before joining Freedom from Hunger, Chris worked for the U.N. Environment Program in Kenya and then for USAID contractors in Tanzania, Botswana, Egypt, Cote d'Ivoire, and the Sudan. Chris has a PhD in ecology (University of Arizona in Tucson) and a BS in biological sciences (Cornell University).
Kathleen Stack
Vice President, Program Development (since 2003)
Kathleen has over 30 years of experience in international development. She joined Freedom from Hunger in 1984 and has held a number of senior positions. She now leads strategic and business planning and program and resource development. Kathleen was co-creator of the Credit with Education methodology and has authored manuals, guidelines and articles on Credit with Education, on the integration of microfinance with credit unions, and on business and financial education. She served on the steering committee of the Global Financial Education Program and was a founder of the Small Enterprise Education and Promotion (SEEP) Network. Before joining Freedom from Hunger, Kathleen served with Peace Corps in Mali and USAID and Plan International in Burkina Faso. She has a Masters degree in international administration (School for International Training Graduate Institute) and a BA in psychology (Clark University), and she speaks French.

Myka Reinsch Sinclair
Vice President, Programs (since 2009)
Myka has over 15 years of experience in international community and economic development. She joined Freedom from Hunger in 2004 as Senior Technical Advisor in Microfinance, providing technical assistance and training to microfinance institutions and credit union federations, particularly in West Africa and the Philippines. From 2006 to 2008, Myka started and directed the Microfinance and Health Protection initiative to develop and test a variety of health financing and healthcare linkages that could be practically offered by microfinance institutions. She now oversees all program activities. Before joining Freedom from Hunger, Myka worked in U.S. community development lending, microenterprise development with Peace Corps in Thailand, investment promotion in emerging markets through a Euromoney subsidiary, and independent research in Senegal. She has an MBA (Columbia University) and a BA in linguistics (Vassar College), and she speaks French, Thai and Wolof (a Senegalese language).

Ron Forrest
Chief Financial Officer (since 2009)
Ron is a CPA with over 20 years experience in public accounting, agriculture/food manufacturing, non-profit health services, and commercial real estate development. He now oversees all financial and risk management for Freedom from Hunger. Before joining Freedom from Hunger in 2009, Ron worked for Price Waterhouse in Sacramento, CA as well as Brisbane, Australia. His agriculture/food manufacturing experience was gained in both Australia and Hawaii with a cookie and macadamia nut food company. More recently, Ron was operations manager for BloodSource in Sacramento and financial manager for the Sacramento area commercial real estate developer, Granite Bay Ventures, LLC. He has extensive experience in dealing with lending institutions and private placement offerings to secure commercial real estate development loans as well as acquisition and operational loans. Ron graduated Summa Cum Laude from California State University, Sacramento with a BS in business administration accountancy.
