Digital Storyteller, Burkina Faso

The Digital Storyteller is responsible for producing passionate and engaging written, verbal and visual stories to provide their audience with a deep, personal understanding of the women and families we serve. The Digital Storyteller lives in a community served by Freedom from Hunger, where s/he observes, interviews and reports on the true life stories of the women in savings groups, emphasizing how their lives can change through membership in savings groups. S/he reports from the field through daily blog posts, photos, and videos that are compelling.

Manager, Annual & Special Giving

The Manager, Annual and Special Giving creates and maintains communications with individual donors and solicits annual and special (leadership annual) gifts. S/he implements approved strategies to meet revenue goals of the annual and special gifts program, administers the gift acknowledgement program for all levels of individual giving, and coordinates solicitor acknowledgments for higher-end donors. S/he manages the vendor relationship for direct mail and online fundraising and oversees the execution of campaigns. The manager also analyzes giving patterns and levels of the individual donor base for appropriate placement in the annual/special and major gifts programs and makes individual gift solicitations to targeted individuals for leadership annual gifts. The manager ensures a service orientation throughout all areas of responsibility.

Senior Major Gifts Officer – Individual Philanthropy

The ideal candidate will be a successful frontline fundraiser with a demonstrated track record in securing 6- and 7-figure gifts. This person will have the development leadership and management skills to take our major gifts fundraising to the next level.

Located in Washington, DC, The Senior Major Gifts Officer (MGO) leads our major gifts fundraising efforts including strategy and solicitations. S/He designs, implements and administers the major gift fundraising program focusing on donors and prospective donors with capacity of $25,000 to $1 million and more. The Senior MGO identifies, qualifies, and stewards relationships in a variety of donor circles, and manages Trustee fundraising efforts. S/He strengthens relationships with a portfolio of existing donors; engages and cultivates a broad range of new major gifts prospects; and plays a key role in building a robust major and planned gifts program. .
